Arrakis forces you to learn fast. Trials are one of the fastest ways to grow in Dune: Awakening. Trials sit at special places called Aql Altars. Each altar holds a test that asks you to fight, think, or move in a certain way. The game often rewards you with skill progress and new options when you clear a trial. Use your ornithopter to scan from above when you can. The ornithopter gives you a wide view and helps you match the picture to the land. If you are near high ground, climb the ridge and look around. The altar often sits near a single feature that is different from the plain sand.

Play smart when you hunt. Bring a scanner to mark the area on your map and to spot small cues from a distance. Bring fast transport so you can move from place to place without staying in open sand. If you go with friends, let one player watch the horizon while another checks the clue up close. If you go solo, move in short bursts from rock to rock. These habits speed up the search and keep you safer from big threats.

Clearing trials gives real gains. You unlock skill points and sometimes rare schematics and parts. The items you earn help with crafting and survival.
