Use this farming guide to earn arc raiders coins fast with minimum effort and medium-low risk.
Arc Raiders, like any looter-shooter game, will require a large amount of in-game currency to advance. Fortunately, Arc Raiders has an internal economy with plenty of opportunities to plunder resources and profit from arc raiders items for sale.
This guide explains how to make a lot of cash quickly in Arc Raiders.
Prologue Tutorial
If you've already played the tutorial then this tip will be best for your next character. The mission begins with a locked, locked door. You are tasked to break it open. After you break the lock, you'll be shot down and all the loot from the mission will be taken off your corpse. RNG looting applies to the prologue. This means that you could have looted valuable or useful items early on in the game.
Dropping your entire inventory to your feet, including your Safe Pocket, before breaking the door will completely negate the scenario. After the cutscene you will have all your gear at your feet for you to recover. This will give you a head start in the early part of the game when you reach Speranza.
Every bit counts at the start.
Scrappy the Rooster
This adorable gameplay mechanic involves a trainable bird in the Workshop. It automatically forages and collects useful items that you can claim at regular intervals. In order to level up Scrappy, you'll need to obtain the Dog Collar. You may have already found it in the Prologue. You can try to track it down in Residential zones. Pay attention to the drawers and shelves.
Loadouts
You must use the best equipment for loot-runs to get the most out of your adventures. Although you can leverage your gear in these runs, there is a risk that your loot will be lost along with your hard-earned building. You can use the Free Loadout feature to get a basic RNG loadout, as well as the Free Loadout augment, which provides a bit more space in your backpack and an increased carrying capacity. This loadout is only a drawback because it lacks a safe pocket. It has 14 slots for inventory and 4 slots for quick use. The Augment remains locked until the end of the run when you will be able to use it for trading up.
Upgrade to the Looting Mk. as soon you can. Lance can be found at the Clinic. These backpacks have more than double the number of slots and almost 50% more carrying capacity.
The Blueprint will allow you to make the Looting Mk. This 2 Augment has a maximum loadout weight of 60kg and 22 backpack slots. There are also 4 quick use slots as well as 3 slots that can be used to store valuable Trinkets. The passive bonus may also be helpful.
These Augments were designed to be used for scavenging. They are not combat oriented. Light Shield Compatibility is a pitiful option if you are caught in long gunfights. So, be prepared to get out of trouble with Shield Rechargers & Adrenaline Shots.
The Looting Mk. The third augmentation will come much later, but will also address the tradeoff between survivability and carry capacity.
You can collect the Mk. by repeating the Free Loadout Augmentation run two or more times. Each of the three classes (Combat, Looting, Tactical) can be purchased for free in Coins.
Celeste And Bartering Assorted Seeds
Celeste allows you to barter one unit of Assorted Seeds per each of the five basic materials of the common tier. You can avoid Salvaging and Recycling items to get Materials. These are items you may need in your path of progress. Metal Parts with a Coin Value of 75 is the obvious option.
Assorted Seeds are worth 75 Coins each, so it's worth exploring the rest Celeste's Inventory. Metal Parts are sold for 75 Coins per unit.
Buy Trinkets
You can earn a lot of Coins by trading Trinkets. It is possible that you will have to make a decision on which Trinkets to take home. The items must be high-value and stackable, as well as plentiful. The value of a common-tier Trinket, worth 1000 Coins that you can find in many different stacks while occupying only one backpack slot is higher than the value of a rare-tier Trinket, worth 4000 Coins.
In a pinch, you might be forced to consume certain Trinkets. It is not recommended but you might consider it if this will allow you to get two things out of one: the benefit from its consumption, and a space for a more valuable Trinkets stack.
Make sure you use your Safe Pocket when it comes to your most precious item, no matter if the stack is singular or not.
Loot Prioritization
Salvage your loot to get the minimal amount of stackable Materials. Although it's not as good as selling items for Coins, recycling them to get the maximum amount of Material, or even selling them themselves, there is still value in salvaging. This strategy will help you stay in the game longer as you fill each backpack slot to the max.
Best Loot Locations
Two perspectives are available when evaluating the "best" loot locati0n. It is low-risk and will avoid any confrontations with Raiders. Keep to the outer edge of the map. You can explore structures and loot there, away from high traffic routes that cross centrally located loot areas. Random players will be less likely to visit the outer extraction areas, allowing for a more peaceful exfiltration. Spaceport allows you to take a more relaxed approach, and also gives you time to explore Topside.
By observing the colors of the looting areas, you can predict where the Raider foot traffic is most likely to occur. Most players will be battling or milling about in those areas.
The second option is more dangerous and involves selecting maps like Buried city or The Blue Gate that have ongoing special conditions such as Night Raids, Launch Tower Loot or Night Raids to get the maximum loot. These are punishing raids and you must be ready to lose your loot to ARC, or to other Raiders.
Husk Graveyards are a good way to find a balance. They can be found in Buried City or Spaceport, where something caused ARC machines, which were laying around the Topside, to fall down by themselves. It is easy to get a good amount of easy picks. However, other Raiders may also be able to take you out.
Saving Coins
Also, limit your wasteful expenditure. Consider not buying Shield Rechargers outright when it's easy to farm ARC drones and get ARC Powercells. These can then be used directly on the field or to craft Rechargers in the Workshop.
You can survive a run by using a Free Loadout Augment. Then, trade it to Lance at the Clinic in exchange for a Mk. You can save 1920 Coins on the variants of specialist Augments for Combat, Looting and Tactical.
Farming Assorted Seeds is a relatively easy way to get the Materials and Resources you need. You can then trade them with Celeste.
