2. Docked or Anchored at an Outpost
What Happens:
When you’re docked at an outpost, whether it’s for crafting, trading, or Skull and Bones Items upgrading your ship, you won’t be able to Fast Travel. This is because your ship is in a stationary position, and the Fast Travel mechanic requires that your ship be in motion or at a specific location in the open sea.
How to Work Around It:
Prepare Ahead of Time: Before docking, make sure you’ve already planned your next destination. If you need to Fast Travel immediately after upgrading or trading, dock at a different outpost or settlement that has a Fast Travel point.
Use Anchoring and Sailing: If Fast Travel is unavailable while docked, sail to a nearby location (or open water) to enable the option again. Once you're no longer stationary, Fast Travel can be used.
3. Restricted Areas and Dangerous Zones
What Happens:
Certain areas in Skull and Bones, especially hostile territories or enemy-controlled zones, will restrict the ability to travel fast. These locations are designed to create tension and prevent players from easily escaping danger. If you enter a no-travel zone—such as an area with active Pirate King patrols or heavily fortified enemy outposts—Fast Travel will be disabled until you leave the area.
How to Work Around It:
Strategic Routes: Study the world map before heading into dangerous areas. Familiarize yourself with enemy patrols, Pirate King territories, or hostile zones so that you can avoid them when possible.
Escape Fast Travel: If you accidentally enter a restricted area, try to Skull and bones items for sale cheap sail out of it as quickly as possible. Once you leave the zone, Fast Travel will be available again.
